• Create a natural flow from the indoor living room into the outdoor living space.

• While emphasizing straight lines and geometric forms to reflect the contemporary architectural integrity, materials and color palette were selected to soften the edges of the concrete structure. The limited space in the back was carefully planned with landscape elements to fit a relaxing and social lifestyle for the owner’s family and her guests.

• Soften the front of the house with flowing plant materials. Juxtaposition organic landscape ties and rock entrance way against the concrete facade. A bubbling fountain is placed next to the entrance steps as a welcoming sound upon arrival to the residence. Add a series of vibrant blue-hued pots along the steps providing a strong architectural statement and accentuating the verticle lines of the house.

• Rejuvenate a terraced backyard incorporating a large variety of fruit trees. Create a vegetable garden for organic produce for the household.

• Create and install a new raised wood deck with a jacuzzi and fire pit while maintaining a view through to the front of the house windows of a beautiful hillside vista. Locate a barbecue grill area in the new social-friendly outdoor living area close to the house kitchen and near the gourmet vegetable garden.

• Create a zen-like garden with a fountain off of the master bedroom that has an element of privacy from the rest of the backyard.
